Unpredictable weather and harvest conditions may affect our fresh seafood supplies. To meet your delivery requirements, we may substitute an item of equal or greater value. Although we make every effort to maintain our current prices, unusually large market swings may cause temporary and/or permanent price adjustments without notice.
Please be sure to arrange delivery when someone will be available to receive the package. That's why we recommend gift certificates where the recipient can arrange a convenient delivery date. However, if no one is available to sign for the package, the delivery service may leave the package at their discretion and Legal Sea Foods cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or spoiled food. No deliveries to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska or P.O. Boxes. We deliver to the continental U.S. only. Additional charges will apply for incorrect addresses.
Overnight Shipping: Live Lobsters, Oysters, Mussels and Littlenecks
To ensure freshness, we ship all lobsters, mussels, oysters and littlenecks overnight. Every lobster is expertly packed and shipped in a sturdy cooler with reusable gel packs allowing the lobster to arrive in perfect condition. All live items are recommended for same day cooking and consumption, as they are live items. Any non-live items shipped overnight are also recommended for same day cooking and/or consumption for best quality, however, all items have varying fresh/frozen shelf lives. Please feel free to give us a call at 800-343-5804 with questions regarding this. We must receive your order two business days prior to delivery. All lobster packages will be delivered Tuesday-Friday between the hours of 9-5pm. Saturday delivery is available in most, but not all areas for an additional $10.00 per delivery package and are usually delivered by 1:30pm.
Other Gourmet Gift Packages (2nd business day delivery)
Packages other than lobsters, oysters, mussels and littlenecks are shipped 2 day delivery and are guaranteed to be received within 2 business days of chosen delivery date. Every package is shipped in a sturdy cooler using dry ice. Dry ice keeps the products chilled/frozen. All items are recommended for same day cooking and/or consumption for best quality, however, all items have varying fresh/frozen shelf lives. Please feel free to give us a call at 800-343-5804 with questions regarding this. Non-lobster gift packages are delivered Wednesday-Friday only. We must receive your order at least three business days prior to delivery. If you wish to expedite a 2 day product to overnight delivery, please total your package purchase and refer to the overnight delivery chart for exact pricing. If a 2 day delivery item is combined with a live lobster gift package your entire order will be shipped overnight, and the appropriate shipping charges will be applied.
All 2 day packages are packed with dry ice.As a safeguard, DO NOT TOUCH THE DRY ICE!Make contact with only its outer packaging. Dry ice may be evaporated at time of package delivery. Depending on the product’s water content and proximity to the dry ice, it is possible that some fresh items, but not all, will be frozen upon arrival. For best results, products can be frozen or kept frozen for no longer than the recommended time of 30 days.

All Legal Sea Foods Gift Certificates/Gift Cards are mailed USPS to arrive within 7-10 business days at no additional charge. You may expedite your certificate to a 3 day delivery for $10.95 or an overnight next business day delivery for $15.95.
*All overnight Gift Certificate/Gift Card orders must be placed by noon ET on a business day in order to be shipped out same day for next day business day delivery. Otherwise, your gift certificate order will be shipped next business day.
