Seafood Marinade

This marinade is a great way to give your dish the flavor it needs. Whether you’re working with salmon or cod, a quick soak in this marinade will make all the difference.

Seafood Marinade


  • ½ cup of soy sauce
  • ½ cup of vegetable oil
  • ½ cup of minced ginger
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of sweet chili sauce
  • ¼ cup of minced cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp of sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp of sesame seeds


  • Defrost your favorite fish (salmon, cod) for 8 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Combine all ingredients listed above in large bowl.
  • Add fish to bowl and let sit for at least 20 minutes.
  • Remove fish with tongs and grill or sear fish for one minute on each side.
  • Brush the remaining marinade on each side of fish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes or until the internal temperature is 145 degrees for at least 15 seconds.
