Seafood Marinade

This marinade is a great way to give your dish the flavor it needs. Whether you’re working with salmon or cod, a quick soak in this marinade will make all the difference.

Seafood Marinade

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of soy sauce
  • ½ cup of vegetable oil
  • ½ cup of minced ginger
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of sweet chili sauce
  • ¼ cup of minced cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp of sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp of sesame seeds

 Instructions:

  1. Defrost your favorite fish (salmon, cod) for 8 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Combine all ingredients listed above in large bowl.
  3. Add fish to bowl and let sit for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Remove fish with tongs and grill or sear fish for one minute on each side.
  5. Brush the remaining marinade on each side of fish.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes or until the internal temperature is 145 degrees for at least 15 seconds.
