Sourdough Lobster Grilled Cheese

Pair seafood and cheese for a winning combination in this decadent take on a classic grilled cheese.


  • 4 tablespoons of room temperature butter
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 oz. cooked lobster meat, thawed and rough chopped


  1. In large nonstick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Place two sourdough slices in skillet and top with one slice of cheddar each.
  2. Cover skillet until cheese starts to melt – 2 to 4 minutes. Remove cover and top with lobster meat, provolone cheese and last two slides of bread,
  3. Flip sandwiches to brown second side, adding 2 tablespoons of butter to skillet to get that golden brown color. Cover skillet and cook for 2 to 4 minutes.
  4. Once sandwiches are browned and cheese is melted, remove from heat, cut in half and enjoy.
