Cajun Fries & Lobster Rolls

The perfect side for your favorite seafood dinner, like Boston's Best Lobster Roll Kit! Fresh cut potatoes, tossed with a generous helping of Legal Sea Foods Cajun Rub then baked to crispy perfection.

Cajun Fries & Lobster Rolls

Time: 45 minutes
Servings: 4


  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1.5 pounds Russet potatoes
  • 3 tsp. Legal’s Special Cajun Rub
  • Kosher salt, to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 450F and brush a large rimmed sheet pan with 1.5 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Clean the potatoes, peeling or leaving the peels on per your preference. Slice potatoes into ¼ inch thick sticks.
  3. Add potato sticks to a bowl and cover with hot water, allow to soak for 10 minutes.
  4. Drain potatoes and dry thoroughly.
  5. Add potatoes to your sheet pan, drizzle on the remaining olive oil, and toss with the Cajun Rub.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the fries and bake for up to an additional 15 minutes depending how crispy you like them. Remove from oven and serve immediately, adding additional salt to your preference.
