Cajun Shrimp

This Cajun Shrimp recipe is a great way to add a little extra spice to your next meal. The mix of different seasonings will give you that extra kick for an amazing flavor profile.

Cajun Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. of Legal Sea Foods Colossal Naked Shrimp
  • 2 cups of olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of basil
  • 1 tsp of oregano
  • 1 tsp of thyme
  • 1 tsp of minced parsley
  • 1/3 cup of hot sauce

 Instructions:

  1. Thaw shrimp in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add shrimp, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Once slightly cooled, place the shrimp in a large zip top bag.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, salt, basil, oregano, thyme, minced parsley, and hot sauce.
  5. Pour the mixture over the shrimp and seal the zip top bag.
  6. Marinate the bag in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  7. Drain and serve over rice.
