Cajun Shrimp

This Cajun Shrimp recipe is a great way to add a little extra spice to your next meal. The mix of different seasonings will give you that extra kick for an amazing flavor profile.

Cajun Shrimp


  • 2 lbs. of Legal Sea Foods Colossal Naked Shrimp
  • 2 cups of olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of basil
  • 1 tsp of oregano
  • 1 tsp of thyme
  • 1 tsp of minced parsley
  • 1/3 cup of hot sauce


  • Thaw shrimp in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil, add shrimp, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Once slightly cooled, place the shrimp in a large zip top bag.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, salt, basil, oregano, thyme, minced parsley, and hot sauce.
  • Pour the mixture over the shrimp and seal the zip top bag.
  • Marinate the bag in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  • Drain and serve over rice.
