Crab Baked Brie

A fun and easy holiday appetizer that’s sure to please! The addition of crab is a welcome surprise, and you can serve with an assortment of crackers and fruit. If you have extra puff pastry leftover, add a holiday cut out to the top of your wrapped brie before baking.

Crab Baked Brie

Servings: 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed and rolled to a 10 inch square
  • 1 Legal Sea Foods Signature Crab Cakes, thawed and crumbled
  • 1 brie round
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Assorted crackers for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the rind off the brie, if desired.
  2. Place the crumbled crab in the middle of the puff pastry square, top with brie. Fold the edges up and over the brie, pinching in the center to seal.
  3. Place the wrapped brie, pinched side down on the baking sheet. Mix the egg and water, brush over the top.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes; let cool for 10 minutes before serving on a platter with crackers.
