Garlic Herb Butter Green Beans

Garlic Butter Green Beans
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 24 ounces of fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 ounces of diced pancetta
  • 2 tablespoons of Garlic Herb Butter
  • 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan
  • Zest from 1/2 a lemon

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, add the green beans, plus the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss the green beans, and cook them on medium-low heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the pancetta to the skillet with the green beans, and cook on medium-low for about 10 minutes, tossing occasionally, until the green beans and pancetta are nicely browned.
  3. Turn of the heat, and drain the fat from the pancetta (be careful because the fat will be hot). Then, turn the heat on low, and add the garlic butter. Toss it as it melts to coat the green beans.
  4. Plate the green beans and pancetta, then top them with Parmesan and lemon zest. Enjoy!
