Lobster Mac & Cheese Sliders
Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces of Lobster Mac & Cheese (half of a package)
  • 6 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • Sea salt and black pepper, as desired
  • 12 ounces of ground beef (85% lean used for this recipe)
  • A splash of oil, for cooking the burgers
  • 6 slider buns

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Lobster Mac & Cheese  according to package instructions. Once it’s done, let it cool for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, combine the mayonnaise and lemon juice, and season with a little salt and pepper, then set the mayo aside.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then divide and shape the ground beef into six 2-ounce balls. Add a splash of oil to a large pan, and let it preheat on medium-low for 2 minutes. Turn up the heat to medium-high, and add the patties one at a time, then immediately smash them to thin them out (you might need to cook the patties in batches of three, depending on your skillet size). Let the patties cook for about 2 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the patties from the skillet. If desired, add the separated buns face-down in the skillet to toast the inside of each bun; you only need to toast them for about a minute.
  4. Build the sliders: Add a tablespoon of mayonnaise to each bottom slider bun. Then, add the patty, about 2 ounces of lobster mac and cheese to each slider, then add the top bun. Repeat with all sliders. If needed, you can secure the sliders with a toothpick.
