Seafood Newburg

Said to have been created by a sea captain in the late 19th century, decadent and creamy Seafood Newburg is now loved by many and typically served on holidays and special occasions.

  • 1 lb Colossal Naked Shrimp Cocktail
  • ½ lb sliced mushrooms, sautéed in butter
  • 1 cup cream or whole milk
  • 2 Signature Crab Cakes, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp sherry
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire


  • Cook butter, flour and mustard on stovetop until brown.
  • Add cream, wine and Worcestershire.
  • Mix sauce with all but breadcrumbs in baking dish.
  • Cover with breadcrumbs and bake 25 minutes at 325 F.
  • Serve over puff pastry shells.
